One of the most beautiful places I have visited, Yosemite National park offers breathtaking views that can never fully be captured in an image. You have to see it to believe it. this shot, taken from Tunnel View, shows El Capitan on the left, Bridlevail Falls on the right, Half Dome attempting to break through the clouds in the back ground as fog sets in on Yosemite Valley below while the setting sun paints the peaks above.
Oyster Bay at Point Reyes National Seashore in Marin County, California. Just 20 miles North of San Francisco, sticking out into the Pacific Ocean, this unique place is home to a handful of small family dairy farms and countless views in every direction of the wild Pacific Coast. This spit of land is separated from the mainland by the San Andreas Fault and is home to one of the largest gatherings of Great White Sharks. This 7 mile long peninsula offers one of the best places in North America to view blue whales, gray whales, humpbacks, elephant seals and Sea Lions, to name just a few.
